So I got this wild itch this weekend to figure out how to sew...once and for all! Oh my, it was so much
FUN! I found an extremely old sewing maching in the back cupboard that the previous owners of our home had left behind. My mom showed me how to start her up....and off we went! I bought a book on how to make Children's Clothes and did my best to follow the patterns and instructions. I definitely should have started with something a little more basic....these aren't perfect by any means (especially the inside)....but not bad for a first try eh?!

I am SO IMPRESSED with you right now. I wish I lived in an old house where I could discover treasures like sewing machines!! You did amazing - and you have great taste! I'll have to see if I can buy a couple of those peasant dresses for my little girl! ;)
