Anneliese turned 4!

Today we celebrated Anneliese's 4th birthday with LOTS of her little friends here at our house. Her theme of choice was Toy Story 3 and she of course was Jessie! A co-worker/friend of mine was able to bring her little pony "Bullseye" (Thank you Becky!!) and most of the kids had a great time riding her around in the rain. Anneliese was a wee bit timid at first but soon warmed up and didn't want Ms. Becky to take "Bullseye" home. Tonite she even asked her Mimi if she'd buy her a pony when she turns 5! Ha!
Leesy's Grandma made her "Jessie-inspired" cowgirl shirt....we LOVE it!

Birthday Girl

For some sad reason I didn't take a picture of all of the fun food we had.....here are a few pics of the few I did take.

I was in a big time crunch yesterday so one of my besties, Angel, stopped by to help me finish up some of the detail on these Jessie hat cookies and a few other things. Thank you Angel!

Our very own Cowgirl!

A quick bite to eat for Bullseye

Callie wasn't exactly excited to be near the pony. She kept "woofing" at her like a dog! Guess we need to work on our animal sounds a little more!

Here are a few pictures of some of Leesy's friends that joined us. Some of the kids were too nervous to get on the pony...so I didn't get a picture of everyone.

Jessie and Woody....aka Asher!

Our baby is 4! Okay, not technically until Wednesday, but still sad :(

April 2011

Here are some pictures from the past few weeks. Nothing new around here....still waiting for our beautiful, sunny spring to come join us.  ANY DAY NOW.

Anneliese went on her first real field trip to the library with her preschool class. Below is how I found her listening during storytime. Talk about mortifying! I quickly reminded her how ladies sit....but not before snapping a picture!

Our otter friend continues to visit us about about every other day. Yesterday we watched him eat a bullfrog on the dock, slide down into the water, catch a fish in just a few minutes of searching, and then hop back up onto the dock to finish his breakfast. The girls LOVE to watch him through the window!

This is him swimming in small circles staring up at me. I was able to open the door and walk to the edge of the porch before he deemed me too close and slid back into the water.

Cute random picture. Anneliese wanted to throw on her Barbie back pack and take the "babies" for an adventure!

Play Dough Fun!

Leesy's most favorite play dough creations are cakes. She loves to take real candles and sprinkles and such and mix them into her baked goods.

I love Callie's silly face. Can't get enough of her.

A plain ol' sweet picture of our girl!
