Randomness from the last few days.....

Super Leesy! She's so cute I could eat her. Just Saying. I love this little girl.

Daddy snuggling with his girls

Yup. It was time to bid farewell to baby mullet. Callahan had her first haircut this morning, and for the most part, did okay. She didn't start to cry until the very end when it donned on her that she didn't quite know what was going on.

Remote control Strawberry Shortcake car from Auntie Melinda and Cousin Braydyn. It smells and semi-tastes like strawberries, so I find myself spending way too much time chasing after Callie to remove it from her mouth. She walks around chewing on Strawberrie's head.

I'm sad that Callie isn't in-focus in this picture but I still love it and had to post it. This is one of their most favorite things to do. Callie hitches a ride in the back of Leesy's trike.

They've also recently started taking turns pushing eachother in the shopping cart.

Christmas 2010

Our Christmas tree

Leesy Bug peeking into her stocking rather than pulling presents out.

Anneliese "bear-hugging" Callahan to try contain her long enough for a picture. Seriously, since she started walking, THE GIRL WON'T SIT DOWN!

This was the first year we had Leesy use clues to find her last present. The clues were extremely simple (i.e. Tick Tock, Tick Tock  goes the _____) and after she caught on to the concept, she had heaps of fun. My parents did this with my brother and I growing up, so we are excited to start it with our girlies.

Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story 3 was her big surprise present....found in the shower.

And of course, Callie O'Mallie loved the wrapping paper best of all!

My dad put a scratch ticket in each of our stockings and Casey's won $100!

The annual cousins picture. It's getting much more difficult as we add squirmy children.

And last but certainly not least, our German Chocolate birthday cake for Jesus. Singing Him "Happy Birthday" and indulging in yummy cake is one of our most favorite traditions we do as a family.

Over all, we had a wonderful Christmas spent with family and great food. We are very blessed.

Baking With Daddy!

Daddy got adventurous this evening and baked Muddy Buddies with the girls. Pretty much, they were delicious!

Crazy Crochet Lady!

My friend Katie taught me how to crochet two weeks ago, and let's just say, I'm an addict! I can't stop. I wake up thinking about it. I go to sleep thinking about it. I'm obsessed...especially with crocheting cute kids' hats. Thus far, I've made two owls, two bears, a black kitty and I'm currently working on an "adult" version for Casey.

Sledding and Storms

So we took the girls outside for a little downhill sledding during the power outage last week. Let's just say, it definitely could have gone better! Both girls ended with crocodile tears streaming down their faces. And this tired Mama's cup of patience certainly wasn't "runnething" over :)  We had been without power for two days in a house averaging about 52 degrees.  Anneliese was scared to even sit on the saucer (but of course, we would expect this from our timid soul!), so I should have known she wasn't going to be ecstatic. And Callie was simply cold and not impressed. Ha! At least Casey and I had fun eh?!

Glamorous Girl!

Leesy's Auntie Ton Ton recently launched her own business selling kids' tutus, headbands, jewerly, etc., so Anneliese posed as one of her poster girls. I may be partial...but I'd say she's the prettiest tutu'd blondie out there! :)

Halloween 2010

For some odd reason our Halloween pictures are not quite up to par this year :( It was obviously dark outside while we were trick or treating...and we just couldn't seem to get the lighting down. Whatever the case, we had a really good time meeting up with a bunch of other families for pizza and treats! There were a ton of babies!

Please note that my "ladybug" baby is the only one throwing a raging tantrum on the floor! Eliana, the standing pink bunny, was only crying because Callahan's volume/intensity was freaking her out.

Anneliese smooching on her good buddy Stryker.

Callie was originally going to borrow this Dumbo costume from her Auntie Ton Ton, but the ears were SUPER big and floppy and kept getting in her way. However, I couldn't resist a picture. Oh so cute!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We took the girls to the pumpkin patch yesterday with about 10 other families.Though their selection of pumpkins was slightly limited, they had an amazing corn maze that we shuffled through using flashlights and cell phone "glow."  There's nothing like traditional "Fall' fun with family, pumpkins and hot cocoa!

Callahan kept climbing up on the pumpkins and then tumbling off.

Leesy peeking out from behind the corn stalks.

                                                                  Quick family photo shoot!
